There is a new Loaded version of Quick.Cart!
Version 1.2 is based on Quick.Cart v0.3.0 (as of 2005-03-30) and has
all updated plugins for this latest QC version already installed. These
include:
- Plugin Manager
- Product Attributes
- Tax and Discounts
- HTML Mail Order Details
and several others.

Product Attributes Minor Update |

Both versions (for QCv0.2.x and QCv0.3.x) of the Product Attributes
plugin have been updated to include a tweak to the Admin side of
product maintenance. Admin can now set or clear an entire group of
attributes with a single click. For those with large groups of
attributes this saves having to individually select each attribute when
editting/adding a product.

A new plugin has been released - Tax And Discounts. It is
intended as a replacement for singleRateTax, providing the same tax
calculation but with more configuration options governing how the tax
is applied (if at all).
The major enhancement, however, is the inclusion of discount handling,
based on the value of the goods in the basket and/or the number of
items in the basket. Any number of bands can be configured and all
calculated costs are now stored at the time of capture, avoiding
recalculating (possibly in error) at later retrieval.
Please note that are 2 different release versions:
- v0.1 is for QC v0.2.x
- v1.0 is for QC v0.3.x
In line with the taxAndDiscount plugin release, the
htmlMailOrderDetails plugin has been updated to handle this new plugin,
and is still compatible with QC versions 0.2.x and 0.3.x.

The following plugins have been updated for v0.3.0 ONLY:
- basketSummary v1.0
- noProductsInCat v1.0
The enhancedSearch plugin has also been updated - now at v0.2 - but
is not restricted to any particular version of Quick.Cart (it will work
on any version from 0.2.3 onwards). It now includes a search on the
basket contents of orders from the Admin Order Search facility, which
means you can search for product names, and for particular attributes
if you have productAttributes installed. |

Three plugins have been updated for Quick.Cart v0.3.0 only. They are
available for download from the downloads section of this site, and
from http://qc.dotgeek.org. The latest versions are:
- pluginManager v1.0
- productAttributes v1.0
- productsInRow
There have been no changes in functionality - simply an update to enable them to run under QCv0.3.0. |
