A new plugin has been released - Tax And Discounts. It is intended as a replacement for singleRateTax, providing the same tax calculation but with more configuration options governing how the tax is applied (if at all). The major enhancement, however, is the inclusion of discount handling, based on the value of the goods in the basket and/or the number of items in the basket. Any number of bands can be configured and all calculated costs are now stored at the time of capture, avoiding recalculating (possibly in error) at later retrieval. Please note that are 2 different release versions: v0.1 is for QC v0.2.x v1.0 is for QC v0.3.x In line with the taxAndDiscount plugin release, the htmlMailOrderDetails plugin has been updated to handle this new plugin, and is still compatible with QC versions 0.2.x and 0.3.x.
